The main activities of Supply section :-

The main  job of Supply Cell is to maintain continuous availability of medicines & surgicals in the District Drug Warehouse of RMSC as per the demand. Quarterly purchase orders are issued through e-Aushadhi as per the annual demand, consumption pattern, & suggestion of respective District Warehouse in-charges. Regular monitoring of stocks is done through the software.

The cases of surplus (excess) stock or shortages are dealt with promptly by carrying out inter- warehouse transfers. The near expiry drugs are also taken care of in a similar way so that there is optimum utilization of drugs within the shelf life.

The supply cell  is thus  key to Supply chain management and inventory control of drugs in the District Warehouse across the state.
