The primary objectives of the corporation are :-

• Procurement of medicines, surgical & sutures  and medical equipments for distribution to Medical, Health and Family welfare Department, Medical Education Department, Ayurved Department, Medical Relief Societies and other departments.


• To supply/ provide qualitative generic/pharmacopeia and other medicines for distribution free of cost to the beneficiaries of various schemes declared by Chief Minister


• Construction of building and warehouses and developing Model Drug Warehouses for storing drugs.


• Using Information Technology for efficient inventory management.


• Ensuring transparency at all levels.
