The state government has implemented an important health protection scheme "Mukhyamantri Nishulk Janch Yojna" in a phased manner to provide complete treatment facilities free of cost to all patient visiting government hospital, government started free diagnostic scheme

New Initiative : Hub and Spoke Model (Turnkey bassis)
As per the guidelines given by the Government of India and the Free Diagnostic Service Initiative (FDSI) of the National Health Mission, the tests are to be made available on Hub and Spoke Model (Turnkey basis) by doing in-house capacity building. 96.76 crore budget has been received for this. Under the model, 33 mother labs, 117 hub labs and 3009 spokes are proposed to be set up in the state. 143 tests are to be made available at district hospital level, 117 at sub-district hospital level, 101 at community health centers and 66 at primary health centers. For which tender has been issued on 06.08.2021.
The main benefits of the scheme are as follows:-

- Advance test availability and online reporting to patient up to PHC
- Decrease in out of pocket expenditure for investigation
- NABL Accreditation of Mother and Hub Lab
- 24x7 test facilities
- End of Expenditure for procurement of new machine and Maintenance and calibration.
